Catherine enjoys working with teens, adults, and couples as they navigate life’s challenges and transitions. She takes a holistic approach to counseling, considering the connection between mind, body, and spirit, and values integrating faith into the process of emotional healing and growth.
She has experience helping individuals with depression, anxiety, stress management, self-esteem, grief, life transitions, motivation, family concerns, and relationship or marital issues. Being emotionally healthy is an extremely important aspect in order to thrive in and lead a fulfilling life. Catherine sees value in looking at what's presently going on and identifying practical ways to heal and grow. She believes that real change happens when people are equipped with the right tools that help them assess their inner self and therefore respond to life situations better.
In her work with couples, she draws from the research-based Gottman Method, focusing on communication, conflict resolution, and emotional connection. Catherine also incorporates Solution-Focused, Emotionally Focused, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy approaches.
Outside of counseling, Catherine enjoys spending time with her husband and son, being outdoors, traveling, and having game nights with friends and family.
