Service on Saturday, February 24 will be held at the Prosper campus (2000 W Prosper Trail). We will not meet at Frisco East or stream this service online.
There are many opportunities to serve through Hope Fellowship. It is the mark of a maturing believer to help others with physical, emotional, and spiritual needs so that those barriers are no longer keeping them from Jesus.
Acts 1:9 calls us to not only serve in the place God has planted us, but to also go to the ends of the earth to share the Gospel of Jesus. Check out our many serve trip opportunities.
Blessing bags for the homeless. You can always keep a couple in your car or make some for a local organization! Contents can include travel size: toothpaste, toothbrush, deodorant, shampoo, comb, baby wipes etc. You can always include nonperishable food items such as granola bars, nuts, dried fruit, etc.
FOOD DRIVE
Food drive for your local food bank. It can be done personally or start a drive in your home group, friends, or neighbors! Each food bank lists the most needed items on their website.
WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT
Keep a box of generic cards along with some stamps. When you think of someone, send a card(s) or text someone in need of some encouragement.
MAKE AND DELIVER GOODIES
Make some cookies or goodies as a family and take them to neighbors. If you don’t know them, what a great opportunity to introduce yourselves!
TRASH PICK UP
Pick up trash around your neighborhood or park.
DONATIONS
Clean out closets and playrooms so that you can donate lightly used items you no longer need.
SURPRISE ACTS OF SERVICE
Examples: Put aside some time and surprise your family with a special meal. In a drive thru, pay for the meal of the person behind you.
be kind
Just be intentionally friendly. Open the door for the person behind you, let someone in front of you in line and smile! That goes a long way!
